We flew to Atlanta to purchase “Theo” with little experience driving an RV (remember that one rental a couple of years ago ;). Thankfully, the drive back to Dallas was pretty much a straight shot on I-20. We took our time and enjoyed the cross-country maiden voyage but knew that before we loaded up our kiddos to wind our way into tree covered campsites or thread through narrow wooded roads, we should seek instruction from a pro. So we spent a weekend at RV Driving School. We learned a lot about our rig, how to handle it and others on the road, and overall gained confidence and competence. If you don’t have a lot of experience driving large semi-truck sized vehicles, we’d recommend a class like this.
