Finding the right motorhome (rig as it’s often called) for us was an adventure in itself that took dozens of trips to RV dealers, through multiple states, and eventually on a trip to Atlanta, GA to pick up “Theo”, our Fleetwood Expedition 38B. If you’re on the hunt for an RV our best advice, look at lots of rigs and buy used. There are so many different layouts with a wide range of options, build quality, price, and features. The first one we thought was “the one” was nothing like the rig we eventually bought. We suggest buying used because a new one loses so much value the moment it leaves the lot. Again, we’ve got a ton to learn but this seems to have worked for us so far.
