After a hard week packing the house and trying to decide what should go and what should stay, we locked our Longmeadow doors for the last time and set out for a friendship pitstop just out of town in Oak Leaf, Texas. Thank you to our dear friends, the Powers, for sharing their driveway and home with us. Spending time with them was truly a great way to start the trip!
From there, we headed south to Austin with a stop through QuikTrip to weigh in “Theo” to make sure we weren’t overloaded. So far, so good.
